Under the dynamic artistic direction of Alexei Ratmansky and accompanied by the famed Bolshoi Orchestra, the company brings Yuri Grigorovich's grand classical production of Raymonda, set to a colorful score by Alexander Glazunov. We are looking to get a group of grad students together for an informal LOW-COMMITMENT hip-hop dance group that meets periodically to do mini-routines and basically relax, unwind, and have fun! No prior dance experience is necessary. This is a brand new idea we would like to run by other graduate students. We are considering an informational/planning meeting in the next couple weeks, but before we organize it, we would like to get a feel for how many graduate students would be interested in either being a member and/or organizer of the group. If interested, please email Sarah at sratanas@stanford.edu and indicate how you would like to be involved and any specific goals you might have for a hip-hop group (exercise, performance, social aspect, etc.)! --------------------------------------------------------------------- - Upcoming Classes and Events at the Bechtel I-Center Check out http://www.stanford.edu/dept/icenter/families/classes.html for an extensive listing of upcoming classes and events from the Bechtel International Center. --------------------------------------------------------------------- How to Post Announcements to this Newsletter: This newsletter will go out on Thursdays each week before 5pm.
