Middle Eastern Belly Dancing: Friday, April 22 One of the most ancient and most beautiful art forms, Belly Dancing builds and maintains a healthy and creative body and mind. Come learn and enjoy the harmonies, self expression, and joy of the dance. Hala grew up in Alexandria, Egypt to the rhythms and melodies of the Middle East. She brings her own graceful, elegant and authentic style to the class and exposes the cultural dimensions of the dance as it is done in the East. Hala has been dancing since she was a child, and offers a unique approach to dance teaching based on the Eastern arts and philosophies. She has been performing in the bay area since 1997.
