Representational Drawing Class Starts Tuesday, January 18th, 1:30pm-3:30pm I-Center DRAWING CLASS - in preparation for watercolor. This is a wonderful opportunity for newcomers to drawing to get comfortable with drawing a variety of subject matter (fruit, flowers, and other interesting objects), and possibly even some outdoors subjects if weather permits. Wednesday Tour - Native American History Wednesday, January 19th, 9:00am-12:30pm Meet at Escondido Village Center Native American history will be our focus on Jan. 19, from 9 to 12:30. This half-day outing will give us an opportunity to learn about how the native Americans of the Bay Area (the Ohlone) lived for 10,000 years before the arrival of Europeans. An experienced naturalist will guide us through a replica of an Ohlone village on a shellmound, and illustrate how they created houses, boats and other structures from the tule reeds which grow in the inter-tidal area.
